Szym-ACE10LJU is a series of acid cellulase preparations (carboxymethyl
cellulase: CMCase) [EC188.8.131.52.] made from excellent strain of
Trichoderma reesei through deep liquid fermentation and extraction
technique. It is a compound cellulase preparation with some
activity of hemi-cellulase. It can hydrolyze 1,4-beta-D-glycosidic
linkages in cellulose, lichenin and cereal beta-D-glucans with the
following effect: 1) Break the non-covalent interactions present in
the crystalline structure of cellulose (endo-cellulase); 2)
Hydrolyze the individual cellulose fibers to break it into smaller
sugars (exo-cellulase); 3) Hydrolyze disaccharides and
tetrasaccharides into glucose (beta-glucosidase).
